Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

OmConscious is built around a straightforward principle: your data is yours. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this site, what is not collected, and how that information is handled.

What OmConscious does not collect

The tools and tests on OmConscious run entirely in your browser. Nothing you input is sent to any server operated by OmConscious. Specifically:

  • Files you upload to image tools are processed locally and never transmitted or stored.
  • Answers you provide to mental health screeners and personality tests are not recorded, stored, or shared anywhere. They exist only in your browser session and are cleared when you close or refresh the page.
  • OmConscious does not require an account, email address, or any form of sign-up.
  • OmConscious does not use advertising networks or sell data to third parties.

Analytics

OmConscious uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general site usage, including which pages are visited, approximate geographic region, device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors.

GA4 is configured on this site with the most privacy-preserving settings available: IP addresses are anonymized, Google Signals is disabled, ad personalization signals are disabled, and the data is not used for advertising purposes. No personal identifiers, account information, or sensitive responses are sent to Google Analytics. Inputs to tools and tests remain entirely in your browser and are never included in analytics data.

Google's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies

OmConscious does not set any first-party cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets two cookies, named _ga and _ga_<property_id>, which contain a randomly generated client identifier used to distinguish one anonymous visit from another. These cookies do not contain your name, email, IP address, or any other personal information. They expire automatically after two years.

You can block these cookies at any time through your browser settings, or by using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above.

Third-party links

Some pages on OmConscious link to external websites, including clinical resources, crisis lines, and research sources. OmConscious is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

Children

OmConscious is not directed at children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of OmConscious after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
